That cheerful voice that greets the caller's ear in Paragon's Pennsylvania office belongs to Cathy Stankina, 32, a mother of two who lives in Collegeville, although she is originally from Ambler, Pa.

Until she came to Paragon in February 2005, Cathy was a stay-at-home mom with her two children for three years. Then, she decided it was time for them to get out to pre-school.

At Paragon her job entails answering that telephone, as well as filing, bookkeeping, mailings, human resources duties and whatever else needs doing right now.

"I like it that the company is small enough that we are all very close," she said. "Everyone is easy to get along with and we help each other."

When Cathy isn't working, she is chauffeuring the kids around to their activities and spending time with her husband, Chris, a self-employed carpet installer.

She describes the family as "very much your subdivision suburbanites."

When she has any spare time, Cathy likes to read--"I'm in several book clubs." She also likes to run and has her eyes set on a marathon.

"I want to run the breast cancer marathon next May," she said.
